Single Block 150 to 450 Horsepower Engine

The power pack for the Baron Marine™ InDrive for the leisure market is a single engine multi-application horsepower design for all the marketed horsepower ranges matched with the applicable InDrive defined by an adaptive CPU.

This design simplifies engine configuration, tooling, production and maintenance costs while eliminating the need for the production of separate engines for each horsepower application, supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development 2030 agenda.

Electric Motor Drives - Preparing for the Future Now

Climate warming demands the advancement of electric motor applications for vessels of all types and sizes. Baron Marine has developed future drive systems, both Hybrid and EV using the latest electronic technological innovations.

Baron Marine propulsor technology can be integrated with the predictable characteristics of the InDrive with the latest Navel Architectural principles of design to develop a predictable design application capability for all vessel types and sizes.

The Baron Marine InDrive propulsor is a disruptive technology vetted by the United States Coast Guard and encouraged by the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force. The InDrive is a rotary displacement propulsor system which is efficient and sustainable.

The InDrive can be powered by marinized Gasoline, Diesel, Hybrid, Electric or Gas Turbine powerpacks with an in-built clutch without reduction gears. To maximize the power to weight advantage, Baron Marine is preparing a marinized single block multi-horsepower engine with an interchangeable CPU (Central Processing Unit) to provide a versatile 150 to 400 hp powerpack for the InDrive. Hybrid electric versions will follow.
